Radio advertising

Not thinking of doing it but heard an ad on my local radio station advertising advertising on the radio,

Anyone on here ever done it?

I can honestly say ive never heard a window cleaning radio ad,

will cost you a forune, i did this 9 years ago, radio tay, cost then was £450  :'( got 3 jobs from it,

i got offered it £50 a week but had to sign for 6 months

it was 6 times a day at diffrent times for 7 days, it was worth a try

There was recently quite a long running window cleaning ad from a local Bristol radio station which sounded very professional; I don't know if it's still one; and I can't remember the name of the company.

back then i thought, yea hundreds of new customers, i had an easy to remember number then 877877 they sang it lol, problem i had was ups had the same number 0800 877877 and i got hundreds of there calls by mistake,  ;D

I used to some work for a cleaning company who advertised on the radio. They had a 20 second add played every hour 24 7. They paid over £1k per week for it.
They did get some good jobs from it.

The Bristol ad was me on star radio and i did not get 1 enquiry, complete waste of money!

yeah total agree we paid £3k got own professional jingle made and everything

three enquiries.................one about who was singing on the jingle

Your lucky, we didnt get one call, not even someone trying to sell us something or more advertising, which is surprising
