Plug holes in tank after removing floatvalve?

Any ideas on this?

I have a 300GPD RO floatvalve in there, but must have overtightened it, and now leaks. I've got a 12v floatvalve now for my 4040 so don't need it anymore.

How shall I plug this?

what about a stainless or nylon nut and bolt with nylon washer each side ??? just a thought.

Yea that's what I was thinking about too. Any ideas where to get a plastic bolt?

It's too dark to check the diameter of the hole, must be 3/8

Good point, thanks for the advice. Should work I think because the original floatvalve has got nylon washers and nuts too. :)

you can buy plastic threaded bar

add to that 2 washers and nuts and your job done

Okay, update.

Bought M25x2.5 freshwater proof bolts, with 1/2" rubber washers. Put a washer on either side of the tank wall. Tightened it just enough so the rubber washers wouldn't distort. And voila, no more leaks! :)

Hopefully my footwells will slowly get dry.
