Not sure how I could do this Derek?  The condition of the seat when I got there was a bit beyond my control.

Guess I could have rubbed some mud on it!

you could just wait for a bad one to come along, thats no different to me posting before and after photo's of a carpet clean freshen up.

A standing ovation is not what I was after, but then again a bunch of sarcasm wasn't expected either, hey ho...

If you can't tell the difference between a freshen up of a carpet and the repair of cracked and discoloured leather then maybe some training is in order.  At the end of the day, the customer was over the moon and I just thought that if someone was interested then they might like to take a look.

Its because of responses like yours Derek that people think twice before posting on here.

thought my first responce was very constructive, "nice result" which it is, and i'm sure the custy was over the moon, i would of been, i then go on to give advice on how a far more extreme result would work better as a before and after.

second responce was sarcastic but you drew first blood with your "rub soil on it"

note to self, that andy foster is a bit tetchy, stear clear. post it note is now on side of comp.
i won't make that mistake again.

I agree.. to gain maximum impact the b4 has to look really bad.. ive seen some leather pics on here by roger koh is it??  they looked great after, and the sofa b4 looked ready for the scrap heap!

Still im no leather restorer or carpet cleaner, so what would i know

That was a respray after tfr was used to clean the seats

Then I sobered up Oliver Sudden 'cos I can see Dace's pics 

Now Dave, are they the same car, ? 'cos the rubbish behind the drivers seat is different.

The drivers seat is a different colour to the passenger seat, and last but not least, there are indentations on the drivers seat that were not in the before pic 


Oh yeah, top job mate, even in my condition I can see the great condition in the before and after pics, especially in the after.

How can you accuse somebody of posting different pics ? when clearly its the same car.

different angle perhaps, And I can see the same plastic bag behind the seat, infact why would a member do what you arte suggesting, ok if its done in advertising  , goes on all the time no matter what it is.

I suggeat your implications deserve an apoligy, clearly you did have to much to drink

Sorry that you don't understand Aussie humour.

I know it's the same car, I was having a dig at Dave because of the lighting making the other seat look different., plus the different angle for the plastic bag in the back.

One only has to observe the rust mark on the locking mechanism for the door to see it is the same car.

My main concern was that I still can't find any of the original posters pics.

And no, I hadn't actually had a drink back then, I'm just on my first and only glass of red for the night now.
