Only do the demo if the custy is really on the edge of ya or nay
so the demo clinches the sale!!! ;D

Well hopefullly ::)

It's about creating an impresion. If you spend lots of money on high quality glossy flyers then folk may asume you are to pricey, where as if you make a DIY job on the home PC then the oppisite may be true.

I have printed off some £20 notes, well 3/4 of a note actually. Doctored them with obvious changes i.e put my company name on them so they don't look really real. when folded over they just look like a £20. they are really bringing in work and everyone comments on them.

Is that illegal?

Why not rich areas ? I thought the rear of my flyer with offer was quite fitting for a posh area, I've been wrong so far though ;D ;D will try to upload one  ;)

Copied from the Bank of England Website:

Under section 18(1) of the Forgery and Counterfeiting Act 1981 it is a criminal offence for any person, without the prior consent in writing of the Bank of England, to reproduce on any substance whatsoever, and whether or not on the correct scale, any Bank of England banknote or any part of a Bank of England banknote. The Bank of England also owns the copyright in its banknotes.

I'm pretty sure the law will be very similar in Scotland!

Ive spoken to the relevant bank and have been told that if it is going to be used for a business application then they will probably say no to letting any reproduction. But also that the likleyhood of anything being done about it is very slim. They have asked for a flyer to have a look. Might end up doing the windows for free...... >:(
