Hi Is it possible to get help with employees who would be on low income, its not a cert, but if i employ someone on minimum wages or part time... could they apply for family credit?.... does it still exist?Or the option they offer £75 per week to take someone off the dole?Or would it be better to simply pay someone good rates and bonus's...Or am i being a tight git,?I think the scheme where you take someonee off the dole could be good as long as you pick right, you can interview as many as you want, and offer work trials, which are 2 weeks of free labour while you get to see if they're for you, and they keep recieving benefits....I just wondered if anyone knew the options of help available withan employee.ThanksGary.
It would be best practice to pay them what you feel they earn. You need to be making a profit. They need to be paid accordingly. If then they want to claim Working/Child Tax credit they can.Don't view it as making up a poor wage though as you may employ someone who does not qualify. Plus that would be plain wrong. (IMHO)
