i need to build a good future for me before i start being charitable  ;D

Once i get stuck into training i get stuck in - If it rips my muscles off its for a good cause and im sure these people and their families will have gone through more pain than that so no question i will do it

Which way across country?? Lands end john ogroats or coast to coast ie st bees to robin hoods bay or similar west to east ?

Im doing st bees to robin hoods off road in june next year was supposed to do it this year but lad i was going with backed out and didnt fancy a solo trip :) was gonna be 5 days 210 miles through lakes, dales and north york moors, its a toughy though lol
Im very keen to help some charities tho especially ones for cancer and alzhiemers which i will be training for around january so i can do a sponsored cycle across country which im sure everyone will support

Id like to start off in the lakes and finish at lands end - Not sorted a root out yet though - Il see about doing that with you bet theres some great views along the way

This Platinum company contradicts themselves so much on their posts!!!! Do they really think we are that stupid to believe they have a 'Construction Company',whatever, all he is trying to do is to get on with people in a BID to sell his round, which is very poorly priced houses!!! I know a few lads doing a very big round in St. Helens and they know this company and they wouldn't go near it!!

i want £15000 for some decent cashflow for the construction business - Jobs we are going for are valued between 500k - 3m so cashflow is vital for getting a good overdraft from the banks especially in the current climate

Id like to know who this company is as we are known across st helens and have a very good reputation. Whoever this company is must be peed off because we have taken work off them etc....
We dont have much competition as we provide work to very high standards

Think your flogging a dead horse here mate. Looks like you're losing any cred you had. By the way, 15000 would be a lump sum I asume. whould a bank be impressed with that if you are after 500k to 3 mil?
Perhaps it's the sums you band about on here, but you seem to come across as a bit of a bragger. Can't blaim us "humble shiners" for thinking you are full of it.

ive got the £30000 already from the sale of my round 2 months ago plus £15000 - if we risk our own money banks are more likely to bk us - giving us more credability - End of the day we will be lending against a signed commercial contract that shows we have the contract and a guarenteed turnover so if we risk our own money we are in the banks good books until we can self fund projects
Shows the limited business knowledge you have

Yes it does, I'm a shiner, not blowing my own trumpet like you. Still think what I think though. Maybe if you stopped trying to impress, you wouldn't get so much stick. Knock yaself out Bill Gates

Just because i know my business doesnt mean im bill gates it means i do my homework and am 1 step ahead of other business making me more competitive and in a position to adapt to change and makes more oppurtunities
If you know your market you are on top so you can lead it instead of being led by it  ;D

Yeah great, you're top notch, the big cheese, head honcho, big guy on the street etc etc.Does anyone else tell you that, or will you keep telling us? There is nothing wrong with ambition, if you get where you want to go, then fine. Now why not go and do it and let us know how you get on, instead of telling us what you are going to do, in other words, don't tell us, show us. I'll be the first one to send you a beer coupon.

I've not been in UK since the last 19 years, except with my wife. No way can I be your father, disappointing as this would be for you, but hey, we can't all be perfect 8)

I'm what you might call "Marmite", you like me or you don't. I am a little short fused and come over agressive and nasty, to some on here. It's just that the way I post stuff gets peoples backs up too. You just seem better at doing that than me.

Whatever, time to show now what you're made of. All the best.

This is business its not personal. I never get emotionally attached in business which is a rule. Many people have mixed views and many and ignorent and nieve but dont take anything on here personally. Business for me is always fun so if you come over aggressive or not i dont care your in business so youve got my respect regardless of how much stick you give this is just a laugh. We cant improve ourselves as people without critisism and finding our weaknesses which is great lol

Good luck anyway

Posted it twice mate, short version, a mate had a round over here and took me with him. Saw what he earned and went right into it. Was truck driving before, and was on good money but that was all I had to see. Never regreted it. Gone into carpets and upholstery too now. Sometimes it's twice as good money as WCing.

The "how did you end up in WCing" will be along again soon lol. I'll amaze you all with my "ripping yarn" then lol. ;D

So, platinum how easy was it to jump from windowcleaner to construction industry director? Is there much involved like training or could I jump in as well. I could put my house up for finance. Sounds really easy what do you think?
