No disrespect as i dont personally know you but after reading your posts since you joined i am very confused by you as you started by selling your work, then rented the round, then you wanted to know about pricing and canvassing, then you where building a construction business so too busy to do windows, then you wanted to buy some work to rent to the bloke yud previously rented your other stuff too, then you wanted a short wheel base transit connect and wanted to know about wfp and wanted to continue in the trade of cleaning windows, now all of a sudden youve got more work to sell, so based on all the posts youve even written on as a business man as you put it I wouldnt be interested in the round your selling if i was near by and maybe this is the view of others local to you from this forum so maybe thats why the interest youve had is off the forum. Any way good luck with the selling of your work and construction company.

cheers chris
I understand what you mean about me being confusing but the position i was in was that i thought that i could manage a wc round and my construction business but iv found that meeting take up alot more time than i thought and if i was employing 2 lads to work id need to canvass hard like i used to but when i get home iv got work to do-more research or adjustments to business plan and cashflow forecasts you wouldnt believe how much redtape is involved in even before applying for work so i thought i could do both and have found out i cant so i either give up the construction or the windows

I clean them with my brother in law to keep them maintained till a buyer is found - The customers know what day we come and what day we collect so money is always waiting with no problems for collecting as everyone but 1-2 are paid fully at the end of each week...Plus if we are late i get told what day i was expected which is normally down to the weather which they understand when explained.
Iv work this for 5 years some of the work my brother had but i started working it when i left school - Regards brother in law buying the work he hasnt got the cash or a credit history to lend so much money. Hes got two young kids and hes ment to be getting married next year so i think all his moneys going on the wedding - Like i said im in no rush to sell but i dont want any of the work getting neglected due to me being busy - Until then i have to dodge the weather and try and get in done plus all work is cleaned under platinum contracts Nw (North West) Even thought is got a reputable name across the north west for cleaning care homes and builders cleans the name isnt for sale

Maybe your brother-in-law could pay you for the rounds on monthly terms.

hes already asked me about this but i want the money now just so i have a good cashflow in the business...
A guy offered me £13000 yesturday which i said i would accept as long as i could work with him on the first clean so i knew he would do a good job and that he met the customers and i could introduce them so the handover can go smoothly and the customers knew who he was but he phoned today saying he cant get up to view the work till next week which suits me great but hes saying the money might be a problem to get hold of. Told him i wont take installments only cash. Now hes asking me if he can rent it because the cash might be tough to get hold of - Complete waste of time
