Cant see a prob with that.

Only thing I can think of is the working pressure at hight.

If you are going above 2nd story it might decrease the flow to the head.

Have a look back through other topics on this in the arcives.

we have been running two poles from the same pump for over 3 yrs and not had a problem , we even have different jets on our brushes ,I have fan jets and my mate has pencil and we still don't have any problems even on 3 storey work  :

Hi Andy what pump are you using?

I want to set my van up for two as well soon, I have 1 100mtr hose and a 50mtr so I'll be putting a tap inline so I can balance the hoses,
last time I tried the 50mtr was slowing the flow for the other hose to much for my liking, but then I do prefer a good flow rate.

I have a aquatec on demand pump model number ddp7800 60 psi
had the thing from new supplied from sureclean systems in ireland in 2006
and touch wood never had anything go wrong

Without having something like a varistream in the system I can't see how you can run 2 poles from one pump, because the pressure on either pole will keep changing as one person turns off his water.
Why don't you just fit a 2nd pump to run off the same battery therefore having 2 independant systems.

Now, what about having two batterys BUT charge it from the van using a split charge relay? Might be better.
OR, if you are using 12mm hose, use two 6mm and one pump.

It's naff 2 people working off 1 pump. Slows you right down. Buy an extra pump because you'll make it back in a day anyway.

Why not buy a bigger pump? Why have two? Twice of everything to break down.

If using 60psi pump, buy 100 or next nearest.

If 2 people are using one pump  (100psi 7.6 litres) it isn't the pressure but the lack of water when both people are using the water at the same time. It slows you down to half your speed and you end up taking twice as long to do the same job you'd do quicker on your own. Use 2 pumps and save the aggravation.

I know I've been drinking but why not have four pumps, four 8mm hoses and split that into two workers at 60psi? And make them work twice as hard.

Do you understand how these systems work?
One battery on a vehicle runs a multitude of applications, so why would you need 2 batteries to run 2 low powered pumps???

We run two 50m, 12.5mm hoses from a 100psi pump and have been for 3 years with no trouble
