What companies are best to ask for trade references?

Iv'e had a quote accepted but they want a trade reference.

what sort of companies do you guys use?

I use any Hotels and Nursing homes or long standing customers.

They have asked for ' a reference from another company who you provide services Plus the name and address of a company for a trade reference'

Trade references are just to confirm that you have and do business with other companies. Personally, I would ask say 5 of your commercial custies if they would mind giving you a reference and then supply your new custies with names and address of such, leaving them the option to contact them if they wish.
