So much for the Government following guidelines
« on: August 11, 2009, 06:01:23 pm »
Michelle (my daughter) came here today and told me that at the local MP's office that we do, some Secretary came rushing out and said that the chairman said she didn't like the windows being left wet? so can she dry them off afterwords, I asked Michelle what she did and told me she used a pole to blade them off.  ::)

Now if I was there and the Secretary asked me to do that I would have hit them with the European guide lines and the health and safety guidelines, if she remained insistent then I would have binned her and her £6 So much for the one rule for one and one rule for another.

With their garden covered in wide bushes below the windows wfp lends its self nicely to this job now if you had to get in there with ladders then the job becomes un-profitable and as for trying to get step ladders in there then its impossible.

I should write to my local MP about this  ;D ;D

See no advantage whatsoever in blading them off.

Possibility of squeegee rubber leaving a mark and the window frame/sill is still left wet which is where any potential problem lies if they are wood.

Joking aren't you. They've changed the rules so they can now claim £9,000 per year WITHOUR RECEIPTS.
Jeff, if you've got the energy and time I'd write to the leader of which ever party it is (and copy it to the MP too) and tell them what happened and what the rules are that they signed up to.

This is just typical of do what we say and not what we do >:(

Send a copy to every person in that party you can find a fax, email, office or home address.

NAME and SHAME !!!

Local and national papers might like a juicy story like that too lol
Only those who risk going too far will truly know how far they can actually go
