If its a glass roof, either do it first thing, or later on in the afternoon or evening, don't do it when its hot!
Just get the custie to move the furniture out, if its carpet i normally dust sheet the floor to catch any drips. If the glass sheets are quite large, i normally soap up and just do a straight line with the blade.
Then once finished, if its a tiled floor, i just run a mop over it.
Not hard work at all, its only hard work if its really hot.

letting the water just hit the floor is a bit risky in it, because wouldnt the water be dirty black and run the risk of it splashing everywhere. their must be something on the market to catch the water after being squeegeed off or someone invent something like a wagtail with a light weight small bucket hanging of it or something. ( just throwing ideas out there to solve the problem ) some people out there must have some good methods of doing it, you now, share and share a like.

kind regards
paul

Well i still normally clean the polycarbonate roofs the same way, quicker than spraying and wiping. Are you just cleaning the poly, or are you cleaning the rafters as well? If your cleaning the rafters, just put a little tfr or similar into a bucket, and wipe down the  plastic. Depending on how dirty the plastic is, you can use a bit of cif, or a chemical plastic cleaner.

Most of the time the water hits near enough to the window sill. I only put a sheet down if its a carpet, if its tiled i just run a mop over when i have finished.

I did a big glass con roof in and out a few weeks ago it was a builders clean, wfp the outside then used a fairly dry appicator with the scrubber stuff on to do a couple of secions at a time, then used a small pole with my swquee on to do strate pulls down then cloth on pole to detail would have been easyer using some large steps than a pole but guess where my bigs steps were?
