Hi.
I'm new to window cleaning, I had a high quality valeting/detailing business that did well for years but unfortunately like most other valeters, business went very very quiet since January, to the point I had to look at a different business.
I went back to the only other skill that I have - building work, and started a handyman/building maintenance business which is doing ok but not earning a full wage to say the least.  So........I thought I'd have a go at window cleaning, domestic and commercial, being used to working outdoors in the cold and all that...........

My question is........

I'm not a cretin when it comes to safety and using a ladder, and know WFP is the best way to work, but it'll take a while for me to build my round, and I'm working off a ladder at the moment on domestic houses and want to be as safe as possible. 
What would you say is the best safety items I can buy for use with my ladder ? and can you recommend somewhere to buy from ?

Thanks for that, looks great, how much are they ? the shop link doesn't work on the site to buy or look at the price.

As the other reply, I know a water fed pole is 100% safer, but I need to build income a bit first as funds are too tight to buy a WFP system yet.

if your not using window cleaning a frames then you need to get some ladder mits to help grip and prevent slip.

also get some type of ladder levelling devise for slopey ground..

Articulated Ladder Feet are essential imo to increase the foot print of your ladder..
