Is it me or are we just having the same questions, same polls...week after week...don't get me wrong I asked loads of questions when I first came to this forum but only after I have done alot of back post searching.

But is does seem to me that some are posting the silliest and most simple questions without really thinking about them.

Good luck to all new starters...but there is a wealth of information contained here if only you would spend some time looking through them.

Respectfully
Dave.

I can total understand what your saying pingu, It was only about 2-3 weeks ago that there was 3 posts up over 2 pages asking about canvasas, when I 1st started I googled loads of things to find out then came on the forum and asked questions about them, the hardest thing tho is sometimes people dont start the thread in connection to whats being asked of it. Im sure if people can find this forum they can find out a whole lot of other stuff,

Fair point made, however its also been made before too :P

New guys want instant answers and will not look. Personally i think you should not be able to post until your account is 7-14 days old - where by you can search the forum and then once your account is old enough you can then ask better questions.

I think you'll also find that most of the replies small because everyone has already answered the same questions in details time and time again.

Now most replies are silly, stupid and not relevant to the actual thread and in turn creates more deleting work or thread locking by the moderators.

But nothing will happen, newbies will with the same regard still ask the same questions.. moderators will have to spend more time deleting more threads that have pointless posts..

Also things change so answers will become different, so the answer to "whats the best brush" 6 months ago will be different now, also poles, etc.

i can see where you guys are cooming from with the haven't we answered this question before, but I do think that some questions need an up to date answer, ones that are on old posts maybe a year or more old. Also I think for a newbie its good to get answers from people instead of just reading old posts as it gives you some confidence to proceed with your plans, whereas if you just read an old post you wouldn't get personal feedback.
