Went to do a supposed faux suede corner sofa this arvo,it was a minger worst i have seen,it was black covered in stains and white patches (really didn`t want it for the sake of £120)
It was a really thick covering,which made me think it was real,no tags anywhere ,cost them  £1300.
Thats why i think it was real.Was it real or a faux jobby ? Didn`t think faux was as thick as this,jacket material thick..

I went through this before I was more well up on theses things. I bet you it's fake suede. That's not a lot of money really.

Turn a chair over and unstaple a bit of the base fabric so you can see the backside of the 'suede' .

It was an over the phone quote,customer said on the phone she was looking for the cheapest price ! people were quoting over doubl what i was,i am normally about £160 for something like this,but went in lower,as cushions were fixed.
Did flip 1 up to look underneath,but didn`t fancy pulling the base apart.

In all honesty,custy was expecting as new after cleaning,i don`t think i could have got it as new ,as it was such a state.

i'd of cleaned one cushion for free, then took a photo of it next to the other cushions then told her £150, if she said no then at least you got a good before and after for your web site and if yes, your getting paid well and she's all ready seen what the outcome is. win win, ish

natural orange or one step for me, sometimes both (one at a time obviously) if i feel it will benefit.
i leave PB for the carpets.

I use pure clean on these but got some real bad chairs to do in a secure unit and I don't want to be hanging around too long.

Mike you can throw alsorts at these but not solvent, my favourite Ultrapak eats these alive but does take some rinsing, if you turbo dry they dry really quick.

A pre-soak with m-power and then HD microsplitter, followed by a damn good seeing to with a minitex normally works for me

These do normally clean up quite well if the fabric can stand the rather assertive cleaning needed.  Get it as wet as you like but watch out for too much heat.

Or am I right in thinking you've already walked from it?

Walked ! yes she said various bodily fluids when i spoke on the phone,kinda made alarm bells ring then ! Don`t have a Minitex either,could have gone over it with the Duo

last month did a doctors suite the same colour and pen lines around 9 15" and was only just in better shape than that , clean really easy an not a mini tex in sight .
but I pulled a bit more than what you were going in at and all carpets up stairs .

Mark sounds like you're better off out of there.  But there's always that little bit of you that wants to go running back and do it, just for the satisfaction

I sometimes, ahem, come to "arrangements" to get the pricing down for these types of customers, which works well for both sides usually

Down to the petrol station fill up a small can with top grade petrol and hand over to the potential customer, with a complimentory lighter.

Would you rinse between m-power & HD Microsplitter - i haven't tried M-power yet - using Nemisis at moment & having some good results with that
