The dealer has offered a pre registered 2l cdti 115bhp swb vivaro at £11,995plus £13,794inc Vat
The payload is 1100kg.

I wondered what your thoughts were on this.For vivaro owners would i get an 800l tank in and two reels, and possibly two passengers?

Is the load space big enough to get poles in without cutting holes in the bulk head as i have with my scudo?

Are these vans up to it or do i need something that will take more weight?

Shop around before you buy, last month i brought from a dealer  a 1 1/2 year old primastar (same van but nissan's ) with electric windows, air con, reversing sensors and  14000 miles on the clock for £6300 inc vat, still got 1 1/2 year warranty on it and its its in excellent condition.
I know yours is brand new  but is 1 1/2 years worth nearly £7500 more.

Don't get me wrong they drive ok  but if you check out google there is a forum for the Vivaro  and if I had seen that before I bought I wouldn't have bought  if you know what I mean.

Just type in Vauxhall Vivaro  and you see for yourself,     Ive had mine 3 years ( 04 plate )  with 14,000 miles on clock when I bought it and the gearbox has gone not once but twice in that time.

and its NOT covered on warranty  BEWARE

thats bloody good I just bought a silver 07 vivaro sportive from vauxhall for £8180. is yours colour coded?

Vauxhall, Nissan and Renault changed there gearbox manufacturer in 06 because of this problem. there are thousands of them on the road now and have hardly any with gearbox problems on 06 onwards.

Don't let it worry you on a new one.

Is covered by warranty as less than 3 years old, and i believe the gearbox was sorted on the 05 models and onwards

I like that van better than the vivaro. Shop around @ dealers & on the net. You can save a lot of money with a bit of research.

I still have it as I paid out for 2 gearboxes and want my moneys worth so to speak,  plus my Ionic system is built into it.

hoping to get another year or so out of it before I get another one.
