your thoughts on a price
« on: July 26, 2009, 10:27:10 am »
hi all,

I have some offices to price up basically 180 1st n 2nd floor windows as in picture and 25 3rd floor windows price is for inside and out. There are no access issues and everthing is fairly straight forward but they want it doing over a weekend. I have added a couple of pics to give a rough idea whats involved. Any thoughts on a sensible price i have a price in mind was just wondering what you guys would charge.

£250.00.

I normally allow £1.50 for sash, but being that theres so many of them. Id imagine you'd get that lot sorted in less than 4 hours.

Yes but only for 12 of the 3rd floor the rest need a pole..

I'm not sure really i'm trying to time on an average . I.ve kind of based it at say for insides 5-7 mins per window inside and outsides say 3 mins per window  this time will include the initial set up, moving hose about etc and for insides moving any furniyure etc about.
Does that sound unreasonable?

What inside and out, i reckon just the insides will take 2 people a day min as they are the old sash style windows so there are 12 panes of glass to clean per window (not sure if the pics make it look like just 2 big panes) and then nearly a day for 1 person outsides..

If you have a problem with me, for whatever reason, start another thread, but dont play silly games on someones thread who is asking for help.

I dont even know you, nor you me.

You haven't stated how often they would like them cleaning. I would charge more for a one off clean than if it was a regular job.
