[Pole 2 Pole]

Thinking of getting an ally gooseneck for the first time. I've always used 2 black plastic ones. I always liked that idea as you could adjust the angle as and when required. Having just bought the slx,due to the design,having 2 black necks isn't an option. My concern with an ally gooseneck is that i won't be able to adjust angle should i need to. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Yeah you can just screw the plastic one on the end of the alloy gooseneck simples !

I have one in the Garage and haven't needed to use it in two years. I think they are fine for the odd jobs that require them (I have one coming up next week) but they are a pain being a fixed angle. I think some on here even fit an angle adjuster to a gooseneck.

mmmmmmmmmmm kinda what i thought. I was thinkin about putting black gooseneck onto the end. Maybe that's the way to go. Keep them coming please

That`s all you really need to know, one of my poles has this set up and it works no problem

PS is this something you do poleking(black goosey on ally one) or just a thought of yours. I'd love to hear from someone who has tried that(just to see if they'd recommend that)

Gone for it,lol. Just ordered 12". Hopefully by the time little blackey is attatched,that should be fine. Is 12" enough? 14" was only a quid more......oh dilemma of dilemmas

Hi All,

On reflection I would have had the adjustable goose neck on my six. Got the 14 ally. Perfect if you can stand well away from the windows (1st floor). The brush sits lovely and flat. The closer you get then you will find that the window is cleaned with only the bottom bristles. Not so good.

Hi PT,trouble with just a single adjustable is...........well,it don't always go far enough back to hit all the glass. I think the adjustable attatched to the ally gooseneck might just cure all problems. Bet it makes the pole too blinkin heavy now,lol.

Hi all,

I'm not knocking  the ally neck.......... But having been a tucker user for the last four years it seems that the profile of there goose neck allows the brush to sit flater for longer the closer you get. May have to get one fabricated to the same profile.
