I have to use it tomorrow so had a quick assemble today.All the bits seemed to be there and the sections slid into one another.I put some proper readable number labels on the sections so i know which is which.

As i figure it there are six sections numbered one to six, and the number six is duplicated three times.There are end caps on some of the sections that can be removed and you only really need one on whichever is the bottom one.

I was unable to find the instructions or the velcro straps.There was some ptfe spray which i assume you spray on the end.There was also a jar of vaseline which i'm unsure about.

Some of the sections store inside each other inside the bag so that all but two section 6's fit in.Could someone please adivse the cleverest way of storing which section inside which section for maximum efficiency?

If any of you find I disagreeumptions are wrong please tell me, as with any tips, (tried to modify this but double ss and aren't allowed?

Your nearly there, if it's the thirty five foot one then all the sections store inside each other except the first one. I keep them like that all the time, no need to number them 'cos they are stacked in order. I don't bother with the velcro, you need to spray all the joints tonight with ptfe spray and leave to dry. Don't forget the electrical tape trick. Alex will tell you you don't need it but after you've jammed a couple of sections you always will.

Are you saying wrap it around so they can't go inside each other too much?
How many layers? how far from the end?

You can't expect alex to say too much because of warranty issues.

I didn't spray them properly, i thought i could give them a blast when i came to use them. Are you saying i should do it now?
What's the vaseline for?

iv got 3 raps of tape ,when youv spad the end put thin cote over the top of in once its dried

Assemble the sections firmly but not too tight then put a couple of turns on the male of the joint up to the edge of the female to stop the male going in any further if you see what i mean.

mate, no need for velcro straps, just put the brush ead on and turn the hose round the pole itself, like a mapole, easy to do no slack easy to remove.

Thanks. just done as ftp advised, the turning of the hose will be good as i was worried about the weight of a 60' tail on the tee piece to the brush.

Should i put a plastic angle adapter on?

Can you send me your email (alex@agardiner.co.uk) and we can email you the instructions (which should have been in the pack) and we will send the velcro straps out first class Monday morning.

All your questions are answered in the instructions including the best way of storing (1-5 inside 6, slightly sticking out end of holdall for easy re-assembly).

The velcro straps and instructions did come with it, i just can't find them now, so no need to send me straps.

If this does become an issue and i really do need them i can always ask again.

got the instructions. only thing i did wrong was to grease where the brush fits. I will have to wipe it clean.

And, to stop even the possibility of the brush head spinning i will put electrical tape over where the two sections join. And remove it when i have finished of course. See, slumpys thinking up improvements already.

One of the first things I did was put coloured tape near the base end of each section.  The colours corresponded to snooker ball points (section 2 = yellow, 3 = green, 4 = brown etc .  This is because the numbers wear and because I don't work with my reading glasses on.
I dread to think what the vaseline was for.

I have sold much more than hundred of SL2 in Russia, Belarus and Ukraine with the manual only in English and have never had any problems with my customers understanding... even they have never and nobody read the manual.

Great idea. I like it as well as playing snooker.
