got to fit my system into my new van tom thought i would give my tank a wash out its a bit green out the bottom how do you blokes do yrs ??? ???

The hard way......

Reach in through the lid with a scritchy pad, scrub the green off and flush with pure water.  Only ever had to do it a couple of times but it worked.

Tap water's fine.  Final rinse with pure will save contaminating your next batch of water though.
