Looking to buy WFP system
« on: July 10, 2009, 07:15:29 pm »
Hi guys, I run an Ionics Pro 5 500L as my main system.  While I have got on well with the system, my feeling is that really its more complicated (and dearer) than it needs to be.  On face value guys seem to be able to do everything I can do with my system, with much cheaper products.  What I am looking for now is a system for a 40% WFP, 60% Trad round.  The round involves commerical trad (pubs and shops) and low level domestic work.  I am looking to put a tank of 250L - 300L in a Berlingo.

I'm looking at a Pure Freedom system on ebay that is crazy cheap as far as I'm concerned.

Ionics want £4200 +VAT -  :o  Thats a hell of a difference huh.  So whats up with this guys?  Will the quality of work suffer with this system?  Will the running costs be much higher?

Is this system just great value, or are there any other alternatives I should consider.  Any advice appreciated.

Purefreedom DIY set up is the way to go.
Ask them to make a cage for the tank too.
My system is a 350ltr tank and a 200gpd RO with a 24ft pole it cost me £1,200 and took just one day to install it.
Reaching parts traditional window cleaners can not reach.

You can't go wrong with Pure Freedom,I have a trolly and the 500 litre van mount system, brilliant bit of kit,I only use the trolly to do my neighbours and the odd few others that are easier with the trolly, their after sales are top notch to say the least,I can't recommend them enough,I drove up from Leatherhead in Surrey and was well worth it,I would do it over and over again if I had to but with that kit on Ebay you can do it yourself and know that their stuff is QUALITY.
I would recommend like someone has said to get the tank frame and find a local garage to bolt it through the chassis.
I have shopped about on different websites and went with Pure Freedom in the end,I've could of got a system more locally in London etc. but I checked out forums such as this one and others and their feedback on products was superb and alot cheaper too ;)
