can someone please help me, i'm trying to wire up a second lesuire battery in the back of the van to power the pump for wfp. it also needs to be wired up to charge of the van when its running.
i put the battery in the back and wired up the pump, to charge it i found an ignition live from the back of the ignition barrel and ran it direct to the battery, but prob is still getting flat van battery after 30-40 mins work and its driving me mad!!!!!!!
how have you guys done it, help is much needed

You need a relay:

i had a system fitted by pure freedom the split charge relay is built into the flow controller

Or a smart split charger if it's a vw transporter T5 (charges from the alternator instead of the battery) so it doesn't do damage to electronics sensor box

hello eclipse i have just got one of them flowmasters like yours from pure freedom have only had time to fit it so it just run the pump what i want to now is does it charge the battery up well for the amount of driving you do cheers

well ive had it about 6 months im out every day quite a compact round and it hasnt let me down yet
good piece of kit if you ask me
