finding an email of the owner of a website

Found a website that i would like to buy.

Its not being used for anything other than rubbish advertising

How can i find out the email of the owner ?

I know its possible as my wife sold a website she bought after someone emailed her asking to buy it.

5k are you barking mad, I have quite a few domain names that would not fetch that price and they are better  ;)
