Got home this afternoon van insurance renewal on table £391.35 f/comp legal/window screen and breakdown cover been with them for about 10 years didn’t think that bad then wife reminded me how I got 70 quid off of her insurance done one search came back at £226.72 only difference I can see driving abroad cover excess is £200 more no breakdown cover (not that I’m interested got personal cover) now the question should I stay with the one I know and help boost the economy or look for more cheaper quote?

I was with Commercial Vehicle Direct who were quite good but I got a postcard off A-Plan a while back targetted at TM owners.

So I dug it out and got a quote. £360 inc cover for TM and tools and breakdown cover, but I had to push for this using CVD quote as leverage.

 I was told NFU is only commercial insurance that cover you to drive offer vihicles not belonging to you.
Anyone know if its true.

Nfu are good i have two cars, van with truckmount and Public liability with them

ever thought about geting a wonder wand colin they are awesome i have another 3 jet basic wand as well and the differance in drying times is unbelievable

Gladiator are pretty good, got me good cover and nice price the last couple of years.  They all tend to grab you with a low price first time and then try to crank it on the second year, but if you poke them at renewal time they'll drop.

Latest news got a call this afternoon company mentioned my quote re site I visited  recons they would quote less than £226.72 got it 7 quid less waiting for paper work oh policy is with RSA
