Your windows were cleaned .........
« on: June 18, 2009, 06:55:39 am »
Where can I get some slips printed off cheaply? I normally print my own then fiddle about trimming them and glueing into pads. Thinking of getting a few thousand done.

I use printcarrier and have them as a6 the same size as my flyers and in the same style to keep it all looking the same.

Cheers

That sounds like a lot of fiddling around.  I just print mine 2 up on an A4 sheet then cut them in two with a small guillotine.
No trimming around edges.  No glueing.
I'm trying to imagine how you do it.

Rubber stamp on those yellow sticky pads (about 4 inches square) and stick them just above the keyhole, says"your windows have been cleaned, rpg service, ---,---,2009" so when they get home, they can't miss it.

Well, i print mine six up and then guillotine them. Once they are cut I stack them with a perfect edge, stick a heavy brick on top then paint the heads (one edge) with glue, leave to dry then using a knife slice my pads into handy sized blocks easy. The fiddly bit is trimming them in the first place.

I see what you mean now.  I used to do mine 4 up on A4 but found that a number of customers reported not seeing them.  At that size they may have got buried more easily in the junk mail.
I actually had one guy laughing about it.  He told me my bills were too small so I (jokingly) offered to put the price up.  I masde them bigger after that so they are now 2 up on A4 (A5) size.

I'd have a hobby if I could get someone else to print them for me. :)
Sadly, window cleaning seems to be my hobby  :'(
