I have been offered a cracking contract hire package via the van warehouse(thanks for the pointers everyone) but i have a question
Normally you would attach your tank to the chassis through the floor a possible no no with the supplier of the van
so
what about skid tanks are they a workable safe proersistion

Big J a mate of mine has one, hes been wfp since it came out and had ionics but swears by the skid tank, they seem very well put together and this is the system i will have in my next van, he put his round the other way so the di is near the bulk head as it gives you a little more room in your van.

Here is my skid tank after it was fitted. Have since had a box made to cover the frame work.

Most contract hire firms have no problems with straight forward 12-16mm holes drilled through the floor of a van as a bung can easily be put in them before return.  I double checked with our contract hire firm and they had no problem whatsoever.
