I clean them because i was sat round my mums one day when the window cleaner turned up in his van, got his pole out, cleaned the windows in 10 mins, collected his tenner and bugged off to do the same to another house.

Money, anything else and you are delusional, unless they pay you in kind!

Meaning?
1) money satisfied all desires
2) you're the window cleaner julie Walters mentioned in that sketch where she remembered when last she had cojoined.

Why do I clean windows? It's a job.

A nice job too in the summer, bloody rubbish one in the winter. Not so stress free as I first imagined either. Custies can be great or horrible. Some job satisfaction I suppose, good money but hard work. Frustrating at times (especially wfp) but overall not a bad life.

I do it for the money and for no other reason other than the fact i could never work for someone
I dont like window cleaning and no one gives me respect because i am one
I do like being able to take days off when i want and finishing early if i want but theirs no job satisfaction just a pile of money at the end of the day nothing lasting to show for your hard work

i done it for a lifestyle change FACT. I am not in it for the money, money will come to me if it is to happen. i am happy and this to me means more than anyhting in the world. i had some serious stuff happen in my life and realised my last job with all the perks and steady future wasn't everything. I left on great terms with my old lace as they fully understood why i wa sleaving

Yo Dave,

Self Respect.

You're doing the best you can. At a price that's fair.

You care. You're the Man.

Ah, self respect as opposed to customers respect? I get it now, yeah, there is that I suppose. hadn't really looked at it from that angle before.

i started doing it as my last job was so stressfull it was unbelievable.
i used to watch my bro (Rich who is p@f on here) making a tidy sum with no real stress and thought i want some of that.
i used to earn about £40k in my last job but gave it up because of the stress and hassle i used to get/create.
now i earn no where near that amount of money (yet!) but i have a better quality of life.
i hear you asking now what was my old job?

i was hated by everyone, i used to be a bailiff :o

Its the money when you actually are established, but as others have said its also the quality of life, and mostly the freedom to do what you want & when you want.
Once your round takes off its a top job... easily one of the best I have ever done  ;D
