Same here, my rubbers would last for weeks (pre WFP) before I needed to turn them over, then the moment I turned them over I would be lucky to get more than a couple of days out of that side! Go figure
Of course they can be knackered after just 1 window if something causes a 'nick'.
And don't you just hate it when you turn over the rubber for that nice fresh edge....the one you have been thinking, 'I'll just do a few more windows with the 'old' side'. As your anticipation builds for that nice, clean, easy to use flip side....Only to find there is already a 'nick' half way down the rubber
And why does this always seem to happen when you have left that new pack of squeegee rubbers at home on the kitchen worktop

My favourite rubbers were always the soft Ettore ones, great to use but wear out very quickly.
Harder compounds can last way longer, but they are not so forgiving on squeegee technique, you have to be more precise.
