I was alsways taught that when you buy something buy a little bigger than you need, the thinking behind this is simple.
Buy an item that just meets your needs and it wil have to work constantly to meet your needs, and if the day comes when you need it to do more you will have to upgrade.
Buy an item a little larger than you need and it will not have to work flat out all the time to keep up and you also have the scope to grow without upgrading.
When I first started to use WFp I calculated that I would only need about 100 to 150 Ltrs a day, but Andrews water conviced me to go for a system that would produce 250 ltrs a day, within 6 months I was using about 200 ltrs a day, after 12 months I was up to 250 a day and having to keep my Ro working over the weekend to build my supply back up.After a further 18 months of pushing my RO to the limits and getting worried towards the end of the week that my water supply would not last I upgraded to a Merlin.
I now have plenty of water, this in turn means that I can use more daily thus enabling me to give the windows a better rinse with more water, I am now actively looking for more work because I know I now have enough water to cope.
So I would advise any one looking at RO's go for the biggest you can afford, Grow into the system not out of it
