I am not fussy, I will be pushing both although I can see the residental side being more regular than commercial, but saying that it is an opening into commercial exterior maintentance packages I have over the last few months been scoping for other workers and seem to have found want I need to progress only time will tell either either way. I have booked in jobs that nearly cover the outlay without advertising the fact so all good.

Why have you got to wait so long? I thought the idea was to open the box and start work straight away. Did you order a triple 1400w vac and have you had to order a 6kva generator or will 5kva be enough?

I paid 800 for the pressure washer second hand, used twice as new (result there) same as omni poles new one.

Generator is coming this week
ftp I don't have the gutter vac yet as they are on pre order.

Just looking at your pics. It all looks very similar to the cheaper lances with the addition of some nice knurled locking collars so the spike and gutter hook can be locked into position so they don't spin. Lance/pole looks pretty robust too what length is that?

Ian, thanks so much for that, and thanks for the call - sorry I didn't have my phone with me at the time.

Did that come as a complete package, or are the high pressure 'bits' extra's?

Looking on the Omnipole website I worked it out as:

£375.00 x 30ft Powerpole
£ 50,00  x Gutter bit
£ 42.00  x High Pressure bit
£ 14.00  x Accessory Plug
£ 29.95  x High Pressure Nozzles.

£511.74 X Total

Doe's it come with the trigger mechanism & high pressure hose? ( I couldn't these on there website anywhere)

And is the high pressure hose use externally to the pole, and can you use the high pressure with the brush supplied?

I have emailed them, but as of yet not heard anything. :-\

They close weekends hence the no reply.

I'd be interested to know what the powerpole feels like. I have the cheapo telescopic lance and whilst it does the job it's a pile of orrible, heavy, bendy, unbalanced poo to be honest so even I might have to purchase one. :o

I had a gutter clean to third storey this morning plus conservatory roof. What a horrible day! The wind was whipping my brush about at full stretch, I got my hose caught, got the power cable caught, got a hosepipe tangled, jammed my slx with dirt, couldn't unlock the twisty grips on my lance and finally chucked my slx across the lawn in temper when it wouldn't collapse. (didn't help when i found a knot in the pole hose inside the pole) Then the heavens opened so I cleared off home.

You'll love it Ian it's great!

Ok Glyn.

I'll email you again tonight.

What power pressure washer do you recommend using for the cleaning of gutters, UPVC fascia's and cladding?

Thanks

Marc

Also Glyn - I can't get the price list, or printable brochure to come up from your website. Are you having any problems with it? it's coming up as 'not found'
