help
« on: May 02, 2009, 06:04:17 pm »
hi
Just been asked to quote for a comercial. I need help on the pricing front.
There are 40 window pains about 1.5m x 1 m. Its a regular clean inside and out.I happy with charging £80- £100 but don't want to price too low.
Any ideas on what the going rate should be for comercials on an industrial site. I have some local shops but think im too cheap

£80-£100 sounds a bit high if it is a straightforward job. If its going to take you 2 hours between £50 and £70 sounds more like it, I have a similar job that only takes an hour, but is priced under this.

2 hours work with WFP is a lot of windows,i would would say if you went in at £100 you should get it no trouble.

Your initial post says inside and out.

Window size approx 5ft x 3ft I would normally charge at £2.00 minimum externally and I would say that  an hour and a half would cover the outside.
Inside at that size could take double the time
So the whole job should be at least 4 hours so - £160 would be ok
