trolley to van mount?
« on: May 02, 2009, 12:31:44 pm »
as anyone turned there freedom trolley into a van mount,do you find it a lot better being van mounted,i am now thinking of doing this myself.at the mo there are two of us using a trolley one does the front while other does the back, would it be possible to get two hosereels and hoses,a tank and be able to use the one tank for both trolleys by placing the hoses on the trolley that usually go into a barrell into the top of the tank.this way i,m thinking we could still use the trolley as a trolley if needed?anyone else done this?

Hi Gemma,
I belive when pure freedom designed the trolley they had the way you are planing to use it in mind. Why don't you give them a call and ask them the best way to use it? They are allways helpful to me.
Mart.

Each to their own but i don't see any point in spending money on a trolley and then stripping it down to become a van mount.
Just fix it to the side of the van and connect it to the main tank with inch hose. Or if running 2, then use a T piece.

Or just buy a leisure battery, pump and an on/off valve.
Much cheaper.

the van mount is so much easier to use than the trolley imo.
and it did,nt cost that much to convert.
money well spent imo. i think i can earn 25 to 30% more per day working this way.
next weekend i will be stripping my other trolley down to make two man operation.

I agree with you. I use my trolley as a van mount for 95% of my work.
I just unplug it and put a barrel on for the rest.
