Just wondering how you guys track all you payments and data, whilst you are on the move.

We run a "live" system for window cleaners.  Meaning every data, cash entry you enter onto your mobile device updates the system there and then. 

So say you are out on your round, you go to a house collect money, log it on your mobile device (LG Cookie), no need for PDA.  It updates instantly your accounts.  It also schedules the rounds, pulls out any houses you have missed.  Lists collections only.

There is no software involved as it "runs in the clouds" All the info is stored on a server, so no discs no updates and no plugging in any devices to anything when you get back home.  No paperwork

The only way really to see how it works is have a dem.

Its quite a difficult concept to get you head around, we have had rave reviews on another webiste, but we are just starting to promote it now.  There is no synchonization between any devices, you can mail eachother on the move, if there are a few of you, the system allows you to see the last property done by any of the other people in your team.

If admin dont mind I can send a link to the site, but to be honest you really need to see a dem, as it will show you a window cleaner that is using it whilst he is out on his round. Live.

Sorry guys for the late reply,  I hadnt been notified of responses.

The system  requires no software installation on the PC, PDA or mobile phone.

The software resides "in the clouds"  You have access to this data 24/7 7 days a week.  There is no synchronization of devices when you get home, it updates in "Live time" as you submit the work that you have done.

Theres no possibility of losing data, as its on a secure server not sitting on your PC or laptop.

Ideally really the only way to understand and watch a window cleaner on his round, "LIVE" is to ring for a demo.

Just need to set appts aside for anybody interested.

It really is quite a difficult concept to get your head round, as there is no software.  If you have a mobile device, you subscribe to our "service" and off you go basically.

£1.25 per day including unlimited access to the internet - we charge .75p a day to manage your data.  No software, no synchonization, no updates, no paperwork.  We recommend though using the LG Cookie mobile phone

What network charges are there in addition to the sub. ie. if I'm on a network will the phone company charge per connection.

this live updating, would that be like haveing a bit of paper with your work for the day and prices on it. as you move about you score out the jobs you do and tick the ones that have paid.
also how can you be sure the data will not be lost if you have a digital storage system.
next, is it basically a web site that you log into and then tick off the jobs as you do them.
i must agree though £1.25 a day does sound better than £40 a month
