What are these called?
« on: April 25, 2009, 06:51:34 pm »
A while back I saw a painter whose ladder had little legs attached to the inside forming a triangle, which made it very stable. I looked them up, but have now forgotten where I found them and what they were called. Any ideas?

No, i haven't found a way to make them :)
Work well though, good bit of kit for those slippery surfaces 10% off if you ring them first and ask for the code for the online ordering. Tell them you are a member of Jeff 1 site. Might give you discount on this forum too but don't bet on it.

Doh :o Why didn't I read this before I ordered them without the code >:( I bought them because I have got a lot of work recently from big, old houses and they don't want them wfp for either of two reasons...very old glass or they want all frame and case cleaned thoroughly. These jobs tend to be 3 or 4 times a year. And now I hope I've got my pricing sorted out better, I like these jobs. 4 or 5 hours on one site is 4 or 5 hours continuous work with no downtime/travelling etc. And contrary to lots of stuff spouted on here, ladders are not a re-incarnation of the devil himself if used carefully ;)
Footnote to Macmac : sorry for using the L word again ;D

Ian won't give you the 10% without the forum code now Just tell Ian that Jeff put you onto him and he may give you the 10% discount

Feen I do highly recomend the ladder limpet I even used 2 sets over a pitched roof with a stand off at the top when I used to do my guttering off a ladder, the ladder was very stable.
