leather cleaning

someone gave me a tip on cleaning leather (car seats)to save money they said to just use a very much dilute liquid carpet cleaning solution

do you think this is wise i wasnt sure has anyone tried it leather cleaner seems so much more expensive

i use products from extracta for leather are they ok they should be they cost a fortune i will use these up before i spend anymore i do intend trying different brands over time

im interested in the course on that web site.. extracta do one its close to me has anyone ever done it did you find it benificial or was it just about there products

so i guess the rep for auto glym was wrong in suggesting useing diluted carpet upholstry cleaner lol  :o
