I had a 250 litre upright and a flat tank installed at different times, the upright was much better as the flat I found was a bit wobbly when you came to a juntions and you could feel the water moving about more and the tank was baffled,my escort had a 500 payload so had to be carefull with other bits and bobs like ladders,me and fuel to consider.
Stick a 1000l tank in and carry some 25l barrels incase you run out. Just dont drive it anywhere or lie underneath it.Dean
