even though i have used it lots, it should still be under warranty if its less than 12 months old I would have thought.
not fit for use ask for exchange

I used to work for halfords, just make sure you have a reciept, they cant argue with that...no need to tell them what youve been using it for.

I've just dug the reciept out, and I'm going to see if I can change it now.

Wish me luck!!

You wont need any luck, its not that old, youve got reciept so they should exchange

I'm on my 3rd leisure battery from halfords now, all changed under their 2 year warranty scheme.  Maybe these things aren't designed to be used like we use them, but a warranty is a warranty, you pay more to begin with at halfords so you might as well get the moneys worth.

A warranty is a warranty you cant argue with that. If it says 12 months/3 years, then youve got that, unless youve mistreated it then no. How you get on?

I bet you will be the hot topic on the Halfords staff forum.

"What a **** Take customer"
Some customer brought back a worn out battery pack and wanted a new one to replace it!

Lets hope you dont clean any of their staff members windows or they will all be calling you back to clean their dirty windows for free.

Wor Lass, who I suspect suffers from an Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, hoovers our whole house from top to bottom everyday; stairs too.  I've seen her run a marathon, get home, and hoover; I kid you not!   ???

She can easily 'knack' a hoover in six months; and three times in seven years; she's broken one before the warranty was up on it.

I always keep the receipts for obvious reasons; but you only get warranty on the replacement item for the remainder of the warranty time on the initial purchase.

It'll be the same for batteries.

Just a thought!

Yes that sounds about right Tosh, as you keep the original date from the original receipt.
