Why is it silly?

What if it rains heavily, thunder, lightening, local traffic etc etc
I doubt if a soft brush against the window with some water is likely to induce a heart attack.....if it does then clearly time is up for that animal

My dog knows when my car pulls up outside the house.  He can distinguish the sound my car makes from other cars who may stop outside my house.  This is a fact.  When I come home, Wor Lass says my dog runs to the door even before I've turned off my car engine.

So if someone is pushing a brush around a window on 'his' house, he's going to know about it; big style.  He'll know you're in the garden by the click of the gate.

It would stress him and if he was ill, I'd choose the welfare of my dog over any window cleaner.

I'm a window cleaner, a dog owner; and that's how I'd see it.

However, I must point out that one of my pet hates is being told, 'Not this month, mate!'.

That means 'never again' in my books, but I would agree that a sick pet is a good enough reason to be turned away; yet return the next time they're due.

Aren't we meant to be a nation of animal lovers?

You may think we all look the same, but don't confuse us Japanese with the Koreans.

In the Far East, the Koreans are disliked by many of their neighboring countries; although it's wrong to stereotype, my Mother reckons they're usually all rude dog eaters.

Koreans are the equivallent of the Welsh in Asia.

I also heard them being mentioned as the irish of the east. Cos of their passion i think.  ;D
Most foreigner people i met there complain that koreans are racist and incredibly rude.
It is true that many other asian countries dislike them because they think (correctly :)) that koreans look down on them. Which they do.
The only people they don't look down on are the japanese and that is easy to see why. Japanese do seem to be a cut above many other east asians. Japan is very clean, the people are very polite and when they do or make something they tend to do it properly.  ;D

The younger generation think eating dog is pretty gross. It's the older male generation who think it's great. They also reckon it improves their libido.  ;D

I suppose the Koreans are wary of everyone else - The Japanese and the Chinese seemed to invade it a lot. Bit like Poland sandwiched between Germany and Russia - no fun!

Anyway back to the topic:-

"We don't want you anymore - my husband says he's going to do them ..."

(Often followed a few months later by:- "Can you do our windows again?" ;D)

in fact dogs can be more loved than your kids

I totally agree with you with 3 kids ages 20, 19 and 18 they really stress me out i wish they would move out.

Now my 2 dogs are always really happy to see us, they never answer back and are genreally ( have i spelt that right ) better behaved than my kids.

I will have dogs over kids any day pity i didn't realise that 20 years ago

When we ran a chatroom on MSN, we used to have that "press alt& F4" as a greeting when people clicked into the room. Was funny to watch them come in then 2 seconds later fly out again! ;D

customers coming out with stupid comments, e.g. one said her paint and decorator told her he pvc windows where oily, and I was getting the blame. She didn't want oil on her freshly painted sills. I said, we are in your kitchen so don't you think it is more likely your cooking.... no I don't cook that often. (What? I come by once a month and you think, uhhh) Of course I explained that I don't use anything that would cause that and her cooking was more probably.

Dont do my windows today, because I have guests, or the plumers in, I am getting new curtains up or anything like that when you only do there outsides and who or what's going on inside doesnt make a flippin bit of difference.

Some people are just thick, not nice but its true.

I was using an extension pole and one guy stopped and said, that's cheating stop being lazy and get your ladders off. There is no appropriate response other than f off you tw@t.
