what vans?
« on: April 16, 2009, 09:14:33 pm »
ok guys, looking to go down the wfp route with a small trolley system to start with, for weekends and hopefully evenings.

question is, with about 2 grand as a budget, what van would you recommend?

thinking an older larger one, or a newer small one...

i dont aim to have it for too long, would like to think i could upgraded fairly soon if all goes to plan.

ok cleaning

it would get me a reasonable small van such as a connect/combi or an older tranny, but thanks for your help anyway.  ;D

best bet is a small van, something like a vauxhall combo or ford escort. both will be well used but they wont tie you down in h.p.payments or leasing contracts. I run vauxhall combo's. I find them easier to work on and you can pick up an 03 model for 1600-2000 so you should pick up afairly good one

i have a pug expert 52 reg and a fiat scudo y reg both cost 2k and both have been looked after serviced regularly and have so far (touch wood) not let me down yet ..... both hold 500 liters confortably which you WILL need , smaller vans will not hold as much water. Brilliant vans and if i was you i would definately buy one of the above or a citroen dispatch (all the same vans).
