WHEN you meen faicia does that include gutters etc , go by norm window clean rate say 20 hr then double it , also depends on how dirty it is , if there is 2 of you 80 per hr , i have come unstuck under pricing , do a sample see hpw long it takes , it has been said before dont under value yourself , also point out it can be dangeruos, use stand offs , someone footing , hope this helps bob.

thanks bob, yes cleaning just under the gutter and facia and downpipes sometimes when you tell a customer its going to be 80 or 90 pound the shock on their face you feel as if you have to sit them down first and tell them the news. i think sometimes they forget just how much it used to cost to have the old wooden ones painted thanks brett

brett, what ever your hourly rate is -cleaning fascias/gutters has got to be dearer. there is obviously more risk involved and remember if you break a clip etc it can be a pain trying to locate the correct make of guttering, so allow for this. i find a chemical called power cleaner by carousel chemicals very good, good luck

3 bed semi det house
100 quid
though i allways say the price starts off at 120 quid, then depending on how easy it is, it might come down in price, knock 20 quid off it, they think they have got a good deal, you know you have a good price
every1 is happy

Ideal job for WFP and a lot safer. If you are going to do it with ladders make sure your fit a ladder stand off first, it makes the job a lot easier and safer.

Re Lionheart and WFP - does that really clean upvc - can you add something to the water - I am ladder user but, like many, thinking of WFP, and that sounds a lot safer and faster.
thanks

I have always found that WFP lifts the dirt off no problem with just the water. The only time you may find it hard work is on the finials on tops of conservatories, mainly because they are fiddly shapes and you cannot put too much pressure on them.
If we are asked to clean out the gutters we do it with ladders and stand offs then go over the whole of the outside with the WFP.
You can't clean the guttering above the conservatory any other way, safely.

Yes, I would agree that is daylight robbery, but then again I lost a similar £100 job last week to someone who did it for £15, that is stupidity!!

We do a 'total exterior clean' ie empty gutters, clean all the plastics, fascias gutters, window frames, con roof, garage door, and windows of course. Sometimes get these for peole who have a different window cleaner. Charge £100-200 but the price has got to be a bit more than what you would have made doing ordinary window cleaning otherwise you will have knocked yourself out for nothing. Look forward to doing these with wfp.

i just connect a hosepipe up to me pole and brush and clean away
then after they are clean, i "polish" with Pure water, it doesnt really polish much, BUT i say i add some PVCu Cleaner that will keep the cleaner for longer and the customer is happy
