hi having used good old fairy for twenty years been useing glass gleam three for a month now sometimes have to use far more than it says can anyone please shine any light on this regards chris the shiney one

i use gg4 after using fairy for years. there's not as much slide. but, you do get used to it and i think that we just got used to seeing suds. i still can't decide whether it is any better than fairy though, (after 12 months) not had any comments.

I think the custys my feel better for seeing soap suds on the windows, ie soap suds are automaticly associated with CLEAN

Explain to your customers why you do not use fairy i.e the film it leaves behind on windows, and they are usually impressed. Also people understand it leaves a film, it has a greasy texture they notice from using it for washing-up.

Don't forget to tell them how much more expensive it is either.

I find pressing lighter on the squeegee helps with the drag issues

I used GG4 (hard water area) after washing up liquid - but only to get my round ready for wfp. (To reduce spotting from soap residue on the first wfp cleans.)

Since then I used it for any remaining trad. work (insides and two ground level commercials I do which both have manky aluminium/old leaky metal frames.

It doesn't slip well at all at the recommended "dose" and I increased the proportions to help it slip. When I ran out last year I bought SYR "Glimmer Gleam" which seems similar and that is about to run out too.

I have decided that I am going to use Fairy from now on on all my remaining traditional stuff. (The stuff that will never change from being trad.)

But ... there is a place for GG3/4 in the "run up" to switching from trad. to wfp.
