quick release conector

hi can anyone tell me where to find something like this.i bought some from ebay but they are poor qaulity and i lose a lot of presure and water.thanks

You'll be wanting the Rectus 21 series....quality.

cleantech, gardiners....nearly all wfp suppliers will hold them I would imagine.

You could also try a hydraulic / pneumatic supplier like Pirtek.
Do all the good you can, and make as little fuss about it as possible.

I ahve some of those from ebay to, only been on a week and they are leekin and rusting around the rims.

There are lot of cheap imports around. You can usually tell within a week if they are! Also if they are significantly cheaper than suppliers normal prices then this is a good indicator with this product. There is a fairly limited margin on these connectors so the only real saving a supplier can achieve is if they buy cheaper replicas.

I am using the brass hoselock fittings and they are excellent, I got mine from Ionics, but B&Q also stock them as well and they are also cheaper than Ionics.

any chance a photo ,excuse my engineering know how :-[ does it still fit onto a tap?

We do stock these items, with a 6mm or 8mm barb to choose from.

I bought these cheap ones....lasted about a week, the ones from gardiners I have are still going strong, months later.

Do please bear in mind that the international market has been flooded in recent times with products from China which do not meet British Standards which are good because Chinese fill their copper connectors and brass with LEAD!  So if you want to lose your head use lead!
