varistream problem
« on: March 19, 2009, 07:37:28 pm »
hi,
I'm having a weird problem with my varistream it is turning itself on automatically   ??? . it will be be turned off then out of the blue will turn on by itself has anyone had this problem before? it has done this half a dozen times today. I have the pump, battery and varistream wired together in a box container and has turned itself on twice while its charging...

any ideas on what could be the cause?? don't think there are any ghosts in my house..

If youve got them all in a box, could it be damp?

is there any corrosion on the battery terminals or inline fuse ? This was one of the problems I found and its highly annoying.
EDITED:

sry just seen it was when it was charging  :-X

i had the same problem. The plastic on the front of the unit had shrunk maybe due to the cold and the thing kept turning itself on
