I feel I need to fight Brodex's corner a little bit, I recently bought the 36' hydra carbon fibre, had a few problems but brodex sorted it straight away. Didnt like the brodex own brush, water was dribbling out, phoned them and they sent out a vikan within 2 days. Also one of the clamps was dodgy, wasn't tightning properly but phoned them up and they sent out clamp and pole section because the clamp is sealed again within 2 days. Apart from a few teething problems the pole is nice, light and comfortable to use. I have a brodex 6', 12' 18' 57' and now a 36' and have had no other problems, very robust poles, very, very good value for money, 6, 12 and 18 were all half price and seem like they will last a long time without starting to go wrong.

Are you saying the big thread on the end of the goose neck (where the brush screws on)  screws off the arm of the goose neck if so i understand whwt you are saying

thats right, unscrew the brush then the metal adapter with the thread unscrews off the gooseneck

doing it this way gives you the option of putting the commercial gooseneck back on for large window sills ;)
