« on: April 06, 2005, 08:24:49 am »
Anyone ever go out wfp ing in the rain, cos its a bad day today just got the pole and theres an option to go out with it to do some high priced work. They are showers its not just drizzle so let me know :)

Heavy wind + heavy rain, give up!
Showers or light rain and light winds, no problem, you can work in conditions that would stop you if you were using traditional methods.
But the higher you go, the more the wind will have an effect, but again, I rarely think about the wind now, there are days when there is no way I would climb a ladder, but don't give it so much as a second thought with WFP.
I'm sat on my arse at the mo, raining quite heavy at times and very windy too, so for me that is a combination that will not leave the windows I clean in a good conditioin, well, with domestic at any rate, commercial stuff I carry on regardless of conditions.
Well, ok, maybe not regardless, but the conditions have to be pretty extreme to stop me cleaning my shops ;D

Here in Brighton is not been raining much, more fine drizzle but it's blowing a gale.

There's me sitting here thinking that those with WFP's will be working today and I'm not because it way too windy for ladders.

drizzle, the odd shower fine.....but cats and dogs..like today...forget it. It's not that I can't work as such...I just don't want to get soaked to the skin, get a cold, then be off for days. The wind was bad too...It's hard to keep the pole online and kills my elbows (tennis elbow on both)...I know...what a wimp...

Today was Ok - started with heavy rain - did insides of a commercial 8 am to 10 am. Rain stopped - did outsides - all ground floor and I bladed it. Then sunny but V. windy (Old Severn Bridge closed). Pre- pole I would not have done anymore, but I did a 3 storey farmhouse and a few large two storey farmhouses this afternoon.

It's all beginning to slot into place and I would not be without my wfp system. It means I can work so many more days where I would not have done before!
It's a game of three halves!

didn't get started until 10.00am due to heavy rain, but worked all way through other than dodge the odd shower.
