Yes, I live in Warrington and operate a truck mount carpet cleaning machine and have very very  little problems with build up of deposits

IM in manchester and its around 30 - 40 ppm so yo shouldnt be much different??

You not got a tds meter, there only cheap, about £15 i think you will know for sure then :)
