Just got it today and i think its a very good pole for the money. yes its bendy but for the price its also a nice length and very light, with the right brush (gardiners superlight flocked) it was a pleasure to use today. I think this will appeal to those with employees as a use for a few months and throw away pole and at £30.00 you cant go wrong, I know you can DIY this pole for £20.00 but i cant be arsed.

thanks for that i use a harris diy, and was thinking of replacing it. but like you for the man hours might as well buy one done. does it come with a brush and hose?

You can get it with everything you need, but I think the flocked brush from gardiners is the best on the market, and i already had loads of black tubing so i ordered mine with just the angle adaptor, i was so pleased with it im ordering a few more tonight.

The Length is 17ft extended which should be enough for most domestic houses.
Closed i would say its under 6ft

And its only 1.3k in weight! it felt like nothing to hold

it is almost. the Harris though is 3x6ft=18ft and stands well over 6ft with brush on.
i think they are advertising the bulldog as a 17ft pole

I have had three Harris poles now. The cone clamp wares out very quick, thats the only down side of them. For the money you can't go wrong. I have also used those butterfly clip things on mine and took the cone bit of. It given it a bit longer befor i have to replace it.

What man hours!!!!  It takes me approximately 5 mins to convert a harris pole!!

true it is almost the same but as i said i would rather spend a bit more and have it arrive at my door and get it staight to work than DIY it myself. All im saying is for those of you who dont want to hand their staff a pole that costs anywhere from £120.00 - £500.00 which will then be knackered after 6 - 12 months then this is a good buy.

I plan to put 3 of these in each of my vans (1 as a spare) along with 1 30ft sl-x. that should cover nearly all of the work we do. over that height 1 60ft pole for the vans to share.

plus a trip to B&Q..... and yes clamp free is sooooo much faster. wish they did a carbon Harris

You soon get used to the brush being loose, and adapt to it. Its worth it for the extra speed!!!

slacken all the twist clamps, extend the pole, i normally put the brush on a fence or a bush, put your fingers over the internal hose at the end and lift the pole, it stays extended. the brush will move but not enough to stop you cleaning. when done, tug the hose and it come flying down,   watch it doesnt catch the hose as it comes out the pole, mine split last week. pulled it off and kitchen scissors were all that was needed

There used to be a video on here of me using the Harris clampless, but I removed it after some abusive comments from some idiots!! But I believe they are still on the Robinsons blog spot website if you can find it?

I thrust the pole upwards to make the pole extend and hold the hose with a couple of fingers to stop it from dropping, when I want to do the lower windows i release it and down it comes in a split second!!

you can also throw it up. just release your hand holding the hose at the right time, also release the hose to lower the pole slightly instead of stepping back or in a tight spot

I use it with the hose on the out side , will it work that way or will i have to change it ?
