how many of you use t.f.r to clean block paving,paving,imprinted concrete?
seen a few guys using this .

no not me i seen some guys the other day . they were telling me that they apply tfr by brush amd use a stiff brush all over driveway,patio then use there hot water washer.

Mark, there are 2 types of TFR one is caustic the other isn't. The caustic one probably loosens the dirt a little but just water should do it as good

you should not need hot water for most drives, in fact only if its infested with lichen do you really need hot.  or oil stains.  applying tfr seems a waste of money and then there are the environment issues.

yes thats what i said to them they are wasting there money in both ways.

I think some people use chem's as they think it looks good to their customers. Maybe it adds a little bit of doubt in the customer's mind as to whether they can achieve the same results with their trusty old Karcher.

I can't think of any other reason.

For bog standard drive cleaning cold water at pressure is more than adequate, environmentally friendly too (apart from the engine's emisions!). Applying TFR to a drive prior to PW is a waste of time and money.

i know about the fumes, i cant stand the fumes, it gives me a bad chest and coughing all the time.

It may make the custy think the drive is really getting cleaned but the grass and the flowers in the beds dying wont cheer them up.    Waste of time and money.
