My first cinema quote tommorow just goin to quote for the lobby tommorow but he did say it wold show me round the whole complex cause there might be the opportunity of doin more work there in the future . How do you guys do these ones. Confused over price dont want to be too cheap but on the other hand want the work in this area as i have struggled since starting to get much commercial work.

Thought theses were all sown up by the franchise operators? Is it a private one, they pay more!

Me too thought they were with a franchise
Richard dont go in to cheap mate just to get the job if he is happy with you and you get a decent price you will get more work.
Can it be a lm clean as it would be perfect for the drying times etc

Dont fall for the old trick, him showing you round saying it will all want doing in the future and doing it on the cheap, the future work may never come.

When I say sown up! Franchisees don’t have to be in carpet cleaning.

I'd have thought £1.50 to £1.75 was probably the price for a commercial quote but I take my hat off to him..... He's obviously got the sales patter and no doubt will deliver the goods....
Glad he doesn't live that close to me

I did a commercial today at £5 a metre it was very very bad, infact I've got to do it every 6 weeks or so but at £3 a metre providing it doesn't go over 8 weeks or it goes back upto £5 a metre.
Don't limit yourself to a price before you have seen the work first and be prepared to lose it because some commercials think they are buying our services like they buy paper clips from different suppliers, they often get the contract cleaners to do the work at a lower rate anyhow, I have many a time had to rescue carpets from bad cleans from poor performing contract cleaners with a Puzzi 100.
