Hi

When people laugh say:

Well, if it wasn't for us you would have no dentists, doctors, shopping malls, shops as without cleaners they would not be allowed to be open (H&S), and besides £30 p/h ain't too bad...i guess!

Regards

I already wrote about it: if someone asking me what I'm doing for living, I say "I run a cleaning business". Works perfectly  ;)

I turned down a phd scholarship to start up my cleaning business (much to my mums disapointment ;D).  you do what makes you happy. And as they say...nobody gets rich working for someone else!

some people are just narrow minded

I could walk into a glamorous job (in some peoples minds) working on helicopters as I am fully qualified. But I don't want to.

A former collegue actually sneered "Oh, just go and clean some crumbs!" I explained that I'm not answerable to tossers like she is, I don't have to ask permission to have time of to see my children's nativity plays etc and nobody can tell me to do anything I don't want to do. My boss, is me! I wouldn't change that for the world!

The only thing that pi**ed me off was the fact that I explained myself to someone with such a sh*t attitude!!!
