Good brush for fascia/conserv,/other?
« on: March 06, 2009, 11:00:03 pm »
I was thinking about getting a flocked full trim brush, from Gardiners, because my mono Dual trim is a bit useless for jobs like these.

Is a flocked brush for jobs like fascia's, cladding, conservatories etc. a lot better then a non flocked brush?

Apart from that, I'm thinking pencil jets don't work very well with fascia's and the bit under it? Would fan jet be better?

I've got a painted clock tower (second storey house) clean coming up, and I want to have some good scrubbing power for the white (now green) panels.

i use a vikan flocked sill brush now for that type of cleaning i found its better at cleaning the finalies (?spelling) on top of a conservatorys as they can be fragile plus it gets underneath the guttering better on facias i use some tfr first aswell..

They are good brushes, but way to heavy (for me) for work like that.

Any other ideas? :)

We don't do a full trim flocked but the double trim flocked is reasonably soft and the central bristles do work well.  I have found this very good for claddings, etc.
